FirstSight Vision Services Inc is Hiring a District Manager Near Upland, CA

Company Description

FirstSight Vision Services (FSVS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Vision. We are here to support and guide our Optometrists in growing a successful practice while delivering quality eye care.

We are currently looking for a District Manager to join our growing team!

The role leads all operational, recruiting and strategical activities of FirstSight Sublease locations within a specified territory according to FirstSight standards. This role in the organization supports over 90 Optometry offices in California and the FirstSight corporate office. This role will be the key person in Sublease doctor relationships and direct liaison to local host business partners.

Job Description

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

  • Recruit and retain Sublease doctors in the FirstSight network. Is the key liaison between doctors and FirstSight through effective business communications, identifying opportunities, aligning strategic direction to address and maximize business relationships.
  • Self-starter with a professional demeanor for highly effective results and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment. Executes with excellence the business plan and associated programs that will deliver desired outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance in non-clinical policies and procedures as well as to help identify ways to improve location relations. Resolves escalated location issues and clearly organizes, communicates compliance requirements and procedures.
  • Builds relationships with Sublease doctors, host business partners and third-party vendors. Monitor and support partners with facility items to include office equipment, phone lines and other applicable lease items.
  • Leads effective store visits focused on business analysis, needs and processes driving behaviors which enable a high performing relationship to consistently deliver best in class execution in all areas of the business.
  • Provides reports to the FirstSight Operations team regarding store progress toward Sublease identified goals.
  • Analyzes reports identifying trends and potential problems and acts proactively once problems have been identified.
  • Research, develop and share tools that help grow the business and promote FirstSight. This includes but is not limited to recruiting.
  • Identify industry trends to share and influence Sublease business partners.
  • Builds rapport with Sublease and host partners and keeps frequent in person, phone or email contact to discuss how better to engage and support the business performance.
  • Assesses Managers to determine talent opportunities and impact on store performance; proactively identifies talent opportunities across the district leadership teams and plans for vacancies in advance.
  • Utilize current tools to document daily activity (ON Track).
  • Plan and host special business partner events (to include some weekends/overnight stays) to create a positive culture and promote FirstSight goodwill.
  • Minimum of 3 store travel days per week and 1 day at the corporate office.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. (Required)
  • Recruiting experience (Preferred)
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
  • Optical Experience (Preferred)
  • Valid CA Driver's License (Required)
  • Intermediate MS Office experience (Required)

Education

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience. (Preferred)

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The pay rate for this position is $58,519 to $87,779 per year.
